I have a 88' civic dx with a remotely stock 92' b18a in it. I know that my car runs a 9.34 in the 1/8th mile on slicks and a 9.59 on street tires. I was wondering if anyone else has ran this swap with the motor remotely stock in the 1/4 mile and what where your track times?????

 

i ran a 15.4@86 with shkunk2 intake mani, i\h\e with a 9.8 in the 1\8th mile. i guess my motor is not as healthy as urs.

 

My friend said he ran 15.0 flat and I think he just has a DC Sports Header with stock exhaust system.

 

An average B18A/B18B swap with bolt-ons will run low to mid 15's.

I thought a B18a/b setup (in good condition) would get you in the mid 14's! Guess not...

 

I would say low 15's to high 14's depending on the shape of the engine... My near stock D16Y8 was running consistent low 15's... so a B18 should be faster.
