Not worth the time and efforts to get it 100%. Get a used fender from a scrap yard and paint it if you're trying to go the cheaper route.

 

repairable? Yes
worth it? probably not.

 

A junk yard is your friend sir. Ecology is great to pickup fenders and other auto parts.

 

I've been to 10+ junkyards for years now, I've never ever seen an AP there...good luck on that.

If anything, buy one online and have it shipped and have it painted

 

same here man...im also in los angeles...all there is at junkyards is civics and most of them are alredy stripped to the bone... the body shop said they would take care of it and make it look like new....and as for the driver side they said is not repairable so i baught one for 200....

went this route since s2k fenders are 300 each anywhere...

 

body shop is fixing both my quarter panels and is doing the fender also...

Just some basic doily and slapping file work

 

WoW 3 bills a fender. Didnt know they cost that much. Times like that i'm glad I have a civic. Good to see you gotten this fixed. Btw how much to repair the panels?

 

yeah 300each..OEM tho not taiwan...i have a civic too building a k20 for it so i picked up the s2k for a daily driver and i love it...way different than the civic...i have even slowed down on my civic to work on my s2k...lol


the guy gave me a proposal of 2800...includes...fix the fender make sure everything lines up...and cut and weld new rear quarter panels and paint my car over..the guy has a good reputation so i might take my car to him but still shopping around...

 

Hows that Civic going to ever hope to pass smog with a K20 dropped in it? LOL Cali can be such a hassle.
I don't know much about the s2000 body and how much the parts worth, but seems like you gotten a deal on the body retaining to the car. Including the paint job, you're winning. I'll also like to possibly try this place out. Name?

323 753 32 22 free estimates a friend recomended him to me and showed me his work...the manager came to check out my car and he seemed to know what he was talking about..he explained to me what would be done...
