integra shifter in civic hitting exhaust.
On the shifter there are 2x 6mm bolts (iirc) that hold the shift lever assembly together if these bolts are replaced with standard style bolts could that cause the shift lever to hit the exhaust? they couldn't be more than a few mm's taller. it only hits when the shifter is to the right for 5th and reverse. only mod is a integra shifter. i read some people drop the exhaust down a bit to clear, but i would rather not for ground clearance.
the integra shifter is a bit longer and hangs a bit lower than the civic shifter
have a closer look at it should be able to move the exhaust over to clearance the shifter
with out having to lower the exhaust pipe

yes milled it within .003" re-used the bushing from the civic shifter. everything fit well. has energy suspension bushings for the shifter as well.
i might just pull the square heat shield off. i was trying to avoid it but its better than the exhaust hanging down lower.
that integra shifter write-up was great, i wouldn't have changed my shifter if i hadn't read that. shifts are shorter, and better now that i replaced the bushings on the shifter. took the o-rings off the integra shifter and the inserts.
