Hi there all... got an EK civic 99 ..im having an issue with something on my car... there's a knocking sound (TAK sound) from underneath the car(front) mainly when there's hard braking... for example going down a slope and just brake hard [ like there's a big change in momentum]
It also happens if i run quite hard in bad quality roads
Any idea what it could be?
(just had my front stabilizer's link changed but sound still here.. but less pronounced)

-some said it could be my front brake (calipers and brake pads )
-or engine support
-or suspensions bushings

but noticed it happened only when braking.. could be from my brakes?

Check all your front bushings,, one or more is probably shot... Don't forget to check the subframe bushings too
