Icon2 Need new motor & tranny for 1991 accord LX

I need a new motor & tranny (automatic) for my 1991 accord LX. The body and interior are in great shape and I'd like to keep the car for a long time and have great reliability. Where do I go to get something good with a warranty? Who do you recommend to pull the old motor and tranny and put in the new motor and tranny? I want to do this right and get the best value for my money!

Thanks for your help!

Normally you can find places that will have an account with certain importers that will enable them to get a discount on the engine and/or transmission, which allows them to offer it to you for a little bit more, which is often cheaper than if you bought the said engine and/or transmission yourself. They will then install it and give you like a 6 month warranty on it.

You just have to call and ask around.;

Thank you for your reply! Can you give me some names & numbers of some good legit shops that can put in a good motor and tranny in my 1991 Accord LX? I want to do this right and know I'm putting in a good reliable motor and tranny with a warranty that should run great and last a long time.
