Recently obtained a B16A without the IACV. Question is, what IACV are compatible and basically plug and play with an OBD1 system? Can I use an IACV from an accord or civic or some other honda and still make it work?

 

if im correct, all obd-1 sensors are compatible.

 

Use a 95 Civic 1.5. It has the long bolt pattern and not the short. I just got one for my B16

Any OBD1 B or D-series will work (except I think D15Z1/VX has a weird long bolt pattern) Most OBD2 D and B-series will work (type R wont, they have a short bolt pattern)

 

That will make my next trip to the yard a lot easier. Plus I will take a tape measure.

 

I believe I'm having the same problem finding the right IACV for my '95 Del Sol Vtec. My B16A3 doesn't use the same IACV as those found on other B series motors. I need the long bolt pattern IACV. Which other cars/motors use this long bolt pattern??
