CRV head unit install - anything tricky?
I agreed to install a new head unit in a CRV for a coworker. I have the Crutchfield kit and instructions, and they look pretty straightforward. Anything tricky about this? This isn't my first install by far, but it is my first CRV.
Crv... You have to take down the while cigerate liter. panel.. adn there will be to 8mm bolt holdin the deck on the bottm. once u have visual to the 2 screw/bolt then unscrew it then pull the deck out. thats it.

What year CRV? All the CRV's I have done were alittle bit of work. You need to take the glovebox down to get the screws near the center console. Take the screws in the lower pocket on the bottom of the center of the dash. Pop the plastic piece that wraps around the base of the center console (has two push pins securing it, one on each end) and get two more screws. Take the drivers side lower dash piece down and get the screw behind that. Then, the whole center piece ( with cupholders, etc) will come forward. It is clipped into the dash. You will then see two 8mm bolts, one on each side, going into the sides of the radio piece. They are silver. Then, the whole radio panel pops out. Unplug the harnesses, etc. Good luck.

Thanks - going to be around this evening if I screw something up?
