Icon2 RSX Key Blank cut to my car locks

I don't know if my title made any sense, but what I'm trying to ask is, if I were to get a blank Acura RSX key and get it cut, the same way my old Integra key is, will I be able to use it, or will there be some kind of electronic program in the key screwing everything up?. I have a 96 which I'm quite positve did not come with the Immobilizer, and i'm guessing the RSX key will work, but I'm aisking to double check, and because I just want to try something diffrent, then the old bland Integra keys.

If you don't have a little key-icon lit up on your dash when you first turn the key to "II", then you don't have a factory immobilizer. AFAIK, the Integra didn't come with factory immobilizer until 2000.

As for the key: as long as the RSX's metal part matches with your Integra's metal part, then the key will work. Go to a hardware store and compare.

In fact, you're not wedded to an RSX key. You could use any Honda/Acura key whose metal part matches your Integra's key.
