Hey Guys,

Just picked up a 92 Civic that I am working on getting cleaned up both cosmetically and mechanically. One thing I noticed in the engine compartment is a hose that someone has apparently plugged with a bolt. I'm not sure what this is supposed to connect to. I don't seem to have any other ports left open nearby. Perhaps someone can shed some light (Picture #1)

The other is another hose nipple on the bell housing of the transmission that doesn't have anything connected to it. Whats the story with this one? (Picture #2)

Does it go to your radiator or spyder? I've seen on f150s have stuff like that but they are real cap off for the radiator system. Don't do crap but they are there

 

Number 1 is a coolant hose, will get a pict later.
Number 2 is the transmission "vent" no hose just a slotted cap.

 

Without knowing the other end of the hose or whats above it, it makes it difficult for number 1. I suspect its for the FITV (The thing on the underside of the throttle body). Number 2 is a transmission vent cap as said before (As the officier said, nothing to see here, keep on your business)
