Default 98 civic with h22a engine... what ecu?

Hey guys im looking to buy a civic with an h22a swap but the car comes with the original p2p ecu. I was wondering do i have to swap the prelude ecu in there? or can i chip this p2p and have it work?? I dont know much about ecu, or basemaps, etc.... but what ecu can i use to preform the best?
Thank you!

I can also get a p06 ecu with an sst chip. I was wondering if anyone knew anything aout them? and if they can be tuned/played around with? Thanks!

Search on Google. Questions like this have been answered too many times that's why no one has bothered to reply.

Best would be to get a obd2-a to obd-1 jumper harness. that Po6 ecu will work but will need vtec components added to it. try www.Xenocron.com

Best is to have it tuned for your set up. you can look into doing this yourself or go to a respected tuning shop. This will give you peak hp and tq and also gain mpg.
