Speed Factory 8.39@185
they did a great job yesterday but ask anybody that is on speedfactorys crew or our crew at this level its anybodys game. its good to see speedfactory do what they did yesterday because it only makes us at kaizenspeed work harder. things that people dont see here on the forums that goes on at the track is we were one of the first people to go over and congratulate them on there run. we are always willing to offer a hand at the track to speedfactory or any other Competitor for that matter and speedfactory does the same and has done the same for us its what keeps the sport going.

4 way race for 7's now...Reid, Miller, Tony and SF. The fact that 8's are the new 10 second pass is absolutely amazing, you're not fast unless you run 8s these days. I can remember the first 9 second Civic I ever saw and how everyone thought it was the most abolute amazing thing because it went 9.99. Hell I still think 9.99 is fast as ****, but by todays standards its just another face in the crowd
Congrats on the time. That car gets down! We were at the end of the 1/4 mile when they ran their 8.44. I told james we need to start putting cameras down past the traps. These things are way more impressive when the car is coming at you. I kick myself for not at least filming it on my phone
Thanks everyone!!
It's a great feeling to get into the .3xx's and have the car consistently run 185+mph even after we got the short track down. I'm excited to make some more changes as we are still on Pro1 cams, stock rear suspension arms/brakes/hubs/etc, and haven't played with under car aero yet.
My next goal is 8.35 and/or 187mph.
Here's the slip:

And some vids Matt took from the stands of the .39 and .44 passes:
8.39 @ 185.23mph

8.44 @ 185.74mph

As far as Miller and Tony go, we are just trying our best to run at their level. They have both helped us out a ton and we have nothing but respect for those guys.

Great idea Andy. We have 1 video that was shot from about the 1000' in Sacramento. It's a total different experience from the top end. I'll try to make this happen for Forum Fest

congrats
