ls turbo in ek do i need to retune!?
title sais it all but.
i just took my ls turbo out of my eg cuz i hit a gard rail and there is no front end on the eg anymore and now put the ls turbo motor in my ek all i changed was my intercooler and my ramhorn and exhaust still using my obd1 hand command ecu but the car starts and runs very harsh and bogggy.

if you changed to a different manifold i would imagine you would need to
assuming you had a log manifold before going to the ramhorn

If it starts and runs like crap, why wouldnt you retune it..? Also, if you changed anything, it needs to be retuned. It may not require much time on the dyno, but it still needs some work
It sounds like something else is wrong as well... Changing those few things *shouldn't* cause the starting to have greatly changed. I would assUme you did something wrong on the install/swap.
Might wana check spark plugs and or your fuel is the wrong oct. I know when I changed exhaust and ram horn my car never acted like that. But I still had it retuned cause I was running rich.

Thanks for all the help guys and well I used to have a bigger ram horn and a bigger intercooler and I never thought about gas ill try to figure out what's in there and yes still useing a walbro 255 just like b4. getting tuned today at 9am ill update after
Went to go get tuned had bad gas dumped it out and also had a bad map sensor got fresh gas and an onny 3 bar and it ran perfect got tuned anyway hit 216hp and 199t at 10psi
