Turbo s2000 hp guesses
Hey guys just posting for some thoughts on what my 2001 s2000 is going to put down Tuesday when I get it tuned
I'm set up on really low boost due to stock clutch and stock map. Don't worry it won't be long before the clutch goes in and boost is turned up
235psi on all cyl
Setup:
Air research t04 hybrid with a 60-1 compressor ht18 clipped turbine wheel .63
Pfab top mount log mani
44mm tial wg
Hks bov
Aem series 2
Id1000
Walbro 255
6lb spring
2.5 IC piping
I'll post dyno # on Tuesday when I find out

Calm down I did read the rules it's supposed to be a fun thread to see some guesses the parts are already on the car and it's getting dynoed in 2 days I'm hoping for 300hp
well, its not a fun thread...its an annoying waste of bandwidth...get results and post them, dont make a thread asking people to guess what you'll make because i can assure you, noone gives a ****

Yes the airesearch compressor housing is a old design it came off of a 88 rx7 but it is just the housing. It has been ported to fit the 60-1 compressor wheel so it is no longer the smAll wheel that was in the Garrett made housing I no longer have the 280 bearing that came in the oem turbo it now has a 360 bearing for better lubrication so basically think the Garrett 60-1 turbo With better bearings and seals plus Mine is water cooled

Chill I'll post some pics Tom my first post says the exact specs of the turbo the only thing I added was the history of the turbo although I should have stated it was a fresh built turbo

Block is forged and the ap1 head is one of the best flowing 4cyl heads weak points are headgasket lots over 500hp with stock hg and the spring retainers would crack for the drivetrain tq breaks crap not hp and the s2000 has no tq

What's confusing the f20 is a forged motor it can hold well over 300
