My Check engine light is aparently burnt out.

I turn the key over and the bulb does not turn on for the 3 seconds or whatever it is... just noticed..

Is there a way to replace the bulb? or is the cluster ****ed?

I would really like to know if i can get the bulb autozone and bumper to bumper could not figure out what the number for the bulb was on their fancy computers. im stumped it is basicly just the cel bulb burnt out. no other bad bulbs...

Yes i checked wires by ecu for cuts and wires behind the cluster no cut wires or signs of tampering with the bulb.

 

it is just a bulb, and you can replace it! Very simple job,

You may be able to get it from autozone, but I don't remember if they carried bulbs that small. IIRC, It's a #24 bulb.

I took the cluster out today and compared the bulb. they werent even close with what they gave me they searched for a while and gave me what their best guess was.

I usualy go threw majestic honda for most oem parts but i can deal with a light bulb not being oem.

 

I have never personaly seen a CEL bulb burn out, but it's definetly possible.

i just pulled the CEL bulb out of my spare cluster, and it actually looks like a #24 bulb.
Something I am greatful for, is Honda really only used like 3 types of bulbs in the interior. #194,74, and 24.

I ordered all my bulbs thru autolumination.com. They are about $1 each bulb.

I'd do ebay for bulbs. Hell go led while ur at it
