Wiring Harness compatibility
Hey HT. I have a D16z6 wiring harness and I need to replace my current harness, which is a D16y8. Are they the same? Any differences? Any help would be appreciated.

So what make/model/year of car? They are not the same in any way. One is a one piece (D16Y8) and the other is part 1 of a 2 piece (D16Z6). Neither will interchange in any vehicle.

not only are they different in that aspect, but the y8 harness has plugs fro sensors that are also different and not present on the z6 harness.
if you need one i can rebuild your current y8 harness if you need it. lmk
