Don't know where to start but here goes.

So about 2 years ago I got myself into an ej6. The y7 blew, it sat for almost a year, so I decided to go the b-series route. Gathered all my parts needed to perform the swap (as posted in my other thread) and put it all together. She did me justice for about a year, before I got bored and decided I wanted another shell. Here she is when I bought her, and swapped.

So I bought myself an ej8 about 2 months ago. (Just the shell, no h22)



Paid a bit much for her though ($900 :/ )
-OEM style carbon fiber hood
-Skunk2 pro S coils all the way around
-Momo Nero Steering wheel

I don't have many pictures of the ej8 since its in pieces.
Anyways, so about a week ago I blew a brake line on the ej6, and that was the straw that broke the camels back, so to speak. Decided the motors coming out, and now all I need is to get a manual steering rack, and start getting ready for the swap, again. Lol. I'm going to clean the motor/tranny up, as well as the ej8, and I'm sending the front clip out for paint. CF hood needs to be refinished so when that's all done hopefully the car will be ready for the motor to go in

So I'm basically waiting for paint and some miscellaneous parts/ maintenance. Gotta buy a new fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, brakes. I'm not really sure where I want to go with this car, but I do know I want it to be clean and reliable. Hopefully I'm on the right path lol. I'll be updating weekly being that Tuesday is the only day of the week I actually have time to work on her (Full time worker and full time parent lol). I'll stop by and take some pics of the ej8 this weekend. Just picked up a 4-puck ACT clutch kit for the b18, getting a 4-1 header as well. Again I'll be updating with pics and progress every week so stay tuned !

 

Picked these up for $300 brand new


Waiting on a couple of parts from Honda, gonna clean/ degrease the engine and clean up my harness. Should be a fun Tuesday

 

Bump. Looking into getting all new rad. + heater hoses, any good aftermarket suggestions ?

 

Rewrapping the wire harness and cleaning the engine tomorrow, as well as taking pictures of the ej8 in its current state. Pics will be up then (I'll use a real camera this time )
