RTV on oil pan question
Finally have the time to do my oil pan gasket on my D16y7 and wanted to know if I needed to use a thin layer of RTV all around my oil pan & gasket or just a thin layer around the oil pump & crank area?

Just around the oil pump and rear seal.
Honda did use Hondabond in those two places btw, they didn't put them on dry and they will leak if you do. DO NOT overtighten the bolts, and if at all possible let it sit overnight before you put the oil in it for the RTV to cure properly.
