K24A4 Intake Manifold RBC?
I know this is a double post but I am not getting my answer from the CRV thread and I need answer soon because I am with out a car.
I am throwing intake manifold code. Went to Honda dealership and they said I need to replace the guts of the intake. I guess the flappers that control the air in the intake manifold closed shut.
I was wondering If I replace the stupid plastic manifold with RBC intake manifold will it work passing California smog and will it get rid of my issues of my car not starting.
Here is a link to the other thread with pictures of the digram.

Also installing this intake manifold is there things i need to know or to look out for. This is on 2002 Honda CRV Auto k24a4.

If you place the RBC on to replace your factory K24A4 manifold you are still going to throw a CEL light unless you have a way off turning off the sensors/valve inside the factory manifold. I also have a CRV daily and an RSX and would love to throw a different manifold on the CRV as the plastic one is bullshit.
You then also would have to use a different intake and make sure that is smog legal... or maybe try fitting a stock RSX intake tubing and box... but the TB placements will be a lot different.

I think in the long run its going to cost me too much money to swap out intake manifolds. I am going to buy the intake manifold guts and replace it.
Maybe if my CRV was manual it would be worth it. Thanks for your help.
