Question about mil engine light on accord.

Default Question about mil engine light on accord.

Hi to all i have accord made in uk year 1994 5th gen, and my engine light mil, lights almost non stop, i made diagnostic with paperclip since i have 2 pin connector,and it turns out to be error number
41 Primary oxygen sensor heater

Check the wiring to the O2 sensor, if it is fine it most likely the heater inside the 02 has failed. Purchase a new O2(Denso or NTK) and replace the old unit.

Agreed. I had the same problem a few weeks ago with the primary O2 sensor failing for the heater circuit in my son's 96 LX. I ohmed out the wires on the sensor side and got infinite resistance so I changed it out and that fixed it for me.

You get to look at the light. Also the car is in what some call "limp" mode meaning you don't get the best out of it...the ecu uses some default settings to keep the car going....best to get it fixed so you can enjoy the car, plus I'm not sure if you have to pass MOT or not?
