My 2003 Honda Accord 2.4L coupe with 120K miles on it is hard to start if I let it sit for a couple of hours or more or less then I try to go back and start it and it act like it wants to start I have to press the gas to get it started sometimes its just a pain trying to get it started sometimes its easy or starts right up I have already changed the spark plugs with the original ones I can hear the fuel pump when I turn the car on also there is no check engine light on I have no codes so I have no idea where to look any help will be greatly appreciated

 

Does it turn over slowly? Mine did from time to time, and sometimes wouldn't start at all. New battery solved the problem.

 

Did you properly gap the plugs?

 

The plugs I got from oreilys they came already gapped and I have a fairly new battery on it with no corrosion at all
