I sold some parts to him mid September. Yes its along time but its still being investigated.

He got me for 1000 bucks worth of parts and shipping.

Shipped over seas, yea I know bad move but I trusted him.

I have been in contact with Interpol. ( through a work connection)

They got in contact with the Phillippines post office and it was delivered.

I just want to let every one know of this guy, im sure there are many more he has scammed, and I just hope people learn from my mistake.

Thankfully for me it didnt interfere with me paying bills, or feeding my family. I will catch this guy. Its all just a matter of time.

Yeah he did a charge back on his credit card saying it was an unauthorized purchase. PayPal took my side bc I had the tracking number and it was confirmed deliverd but the bank didn't.

 

ouch. yeah I would think pay pal seller protection would have you covered with evidence showing items delivered.

 

Nope, Paypal told me I was **** out of luck.

Not really worried about it. Nothing I can do. I just want people to know this email addy. and to steer clear from it.

I spoke with paypal reps on this the other day.
All they can do is ban his account. He keeps your ****

He did say there was a way where you keep the money and paypal goes after the cc company. But only in country, no out of the country sales are eligible.

 

Yeah, thats the same thing I was told. It sucks dont get me wrong but at least it didnt keep food off of my table.

 

I turned down a guy in canada yesterday because of that info lol.

 

Yup I no longer will do out of country either. I had a dude get rally pissed off at me for it. and then I sold it from under him.

i had this happen to me once. but caught it in time and canceled shipping. so i got my **** back. there are some shady people out there! good luck on getting ur money or stuff back

ok some guy out of the country contacted me about my parts i have for sale. he told me to get a shipping quote to thailand (i guess thats where he lives cause says under his join date. member since 2008 but only 6 posts). i got a shipping quote to thailand and it came out to being alot. i send him the quote and i get a PM back saying that the quote is too much and he tells me instead of shipping it to thailand to ship it to NY.

what do u guys think should i sell it to him or does this seem like a scam? how can i protect myself from having this same thing happening to me if i do sell the stuff to him?

 

Have him western union the money cash to you,that might work.if he is legit and wants the part then he should take that risk. IMO

cause i had a guy in the states pull this same situation as the OP but lucky i caught it in time before the item got to him and stopped the shippment. payment was sent thru paypal and i provided paypal with a tracking number comfirming i shipped it out but paypal didnt do sh*t.

 

I wouldn't do it personally. Why risk it? Someone else will come along and buy it
