So I am in the market for a new or used Civic, just have one question.

Should I go buy a new 2012 for 23k or should I buy a nice low mileage under 45k miles for around 19k? I like the 8th gen but what would be the best deal/move to make in my shoes?

I dont mind used cars just dont want a beat up one, and i would prolly save on insurance but is it work buyin a used civic for 18-19k or just end up paying 5k more for a new?

Oh and I want a Civic Si

Having just looked at the same options as you, I chose a 2010 CPO Si. The 2012 Si is not as fun to drive. I test drove both cars 2-3 times then made my decision.

 

5k is alot of money that could be use for upgrades that would make ur car perform better and make it funner to drive
