I would honestly just save up for Flashpro, it's definitely a day and night difference especially with the mods you have done to the car now.

This.. Don't just go buy "cheap power mods" and save your money for something what is actually going to help you in the long run. He's right it's a night and day difference with flash/kpro

And you bought a civic were you really expecting it to be "fast" with just i/h/e?

yea I can see what you mean, and eg with an h22 is probably gonna be faster than our si's but you won't be disappointed with flashpro

EG's weight ~ 2200
FG2 weight ~ 2875

Of course the FG2 will be more sluggish; it weighs a lot more with similar power levels (). As was said, get Flashpro and a tune to make the most of your current mods. There really is no point in buying bolt ons for these cars without getting a tune; they may even hurt performance without a tune (especially the intake). You don't want to be running lean (which many intakes have been seen to do) for too long.

Also, you might want to ditch the SRI for a CAI; the SRI draws air from one of the worst places possible. Or, you could relocate your battery and flip your SRI to draw air from behind the headlight - not as good as a CAI, but a lot better than where it's currently at.

very true even with a calibration from flashpro I was still running lean in the 2500 to 3500 rpm range with i/h/e, rrc manifold, & j35 tb. Found this out after my tuner started to mess with my car on the dyno

Ditch that short ram for a cai. Try the 3.5" custom. Also flashpro!!! and do not do a dyno tune! I mean if you want to spend the money go for it but if not try e-tunez. Best bang for the buck! Also try arizona8thgen. You are close to Az so you could join up and they are full of information.

definitely once you get flashpro you'll want to get rid of that intake and run a custom 3.5" intake.

yea i can tell, the bubble was so light and forgot to mention it was gutted inside but yea i cant wait to get the flashpro and i know i need to do something about the intake i had a CAI before but switched to SRI because it kept getting wet and dirty:\ but i heard u could put a heat shield there, and about the flashpro tune, will it be ok if i just run one of their map tune that the flashpro comes with??

The pre-programmed tunes are hit or miss. They seem ok to some people, but not for everyone. Not all cars react the same way to mods or tunes. I'd recommend getting the ultimate tune from e-tunez.com; probably one of the most cost effective and quality tunes you'll ever get.

If you wanna save a bit of money for now you can go to Flashprotuning.com they have more developed base maps that are directly from previous cars they have tuned. If you want the most out of the car hit up Vitviper at E-tunez, he dose amazing work!

Keep in mind, I was still running lean with one of the basemaps from Flashprotuning.

And yep, VitViper is definitely one of the best out there. I have my e-tune from him as well.

If you're running FP Manager version 1.1.9.6, try:

Calibration Type
Speed/Density (MAP) Calibration
Civic-Si-Race-6-aemsri-rh

Can someone tell me how the flashpro works? Is it like a chip? And once you get that you need to have it tuned right?

It's external to your ECU. All you do is plug it into your ODB2 port that's below the steering wheel to the right above the footwell. On the other end, the Flashpro can be connected to a laptop that's running FlashPro Manager.

When you turn the ignition to ON, the FlashPro Manager will recognize that it's plugged in and you can tune or flash your ECU with a map from your laptop.

Look up the tutorials here: http://www.hondata.com/flashpro.html.

don't know anymore, i like the Si a lot but power sucks without putting tons of money into the engine..btw i didn't get the flashpro yet i'm still looking for one but i feel like even with flashpro the car will still be slow and ill need to spend 3-6k for a supercharger or turbo, like i wonder if i would be able to keep up with a stock WRX or STI with i/h/e/fp..and i don't think it will, so i'm thinking about getting a golf IV r32 but still confused:\ because id like to turbo the Si but no money, i can only trade the car.. or i wonder if i could find a cheap turbo kit i could throw on it, not ebay.. help me guys with ur opinions

Why don't you just swap in a high compression K24?

you havent even begun to tap into the potential of that engine. you have a couple subpar bolt on's and are already complaining.
