Default Hey Honda-Tech, good to be here but my Passenger Door Lock is Jammed

Before I start explaining my problem and asking for help, I'd just like to say hello. My name is Mike and I've been riding in and driving Honda's since i was born. I remember learning how to shift gears in my Dad's 87 Accord from the passenger seat when I was about 5. He taught me how to drive stick from the drivers seat in his friends huge gravel driveway as soon as I could reach the pedals in his 95 Accord, n that was it; Honda til I die.

So recently, as in last Saturday, I picked up a 91 CRX HF with 218k in rough shape that I paid way to much for. But It was a Georgia transplant car with minimal rust in the important places n a solid engine that got 40-50mpg. I wasn't leaving without it. Working on getting it back to factory condition before i do any mods. Changed the oil, Seafoamed it, changed the oil again yesterday with a new drain plug n gasket, new fuel filter, air filter, windshield, wipers. Waiting on installing a new clutch n flywheel, & refurbishing the suspension. I'll leave my other problems for another day n I used to be over on A-zine with my old 3.0 CL; so don't worry I know SEARCH first ask questions later.

Here's the deal, the previous owner must have installed a remote door unlocking system (i can see the control box under the dash, i'll post a pic later) n the actuatior is frozen in the passeger door, so i can't lock the door from inside OR outside. the car didn't come with a key fob remote so idk, this guy was kind of a dick n refused to give me much info about the car when i called him back a few days after the purchase. I realized he was passing on his problems for me to find. Here's a few pics i tried to take inside the door with the panel off

Hopefully its as simple as removing the door lock actuator, hooking the regular lock back up, and figuring out how to remove the tangled mess from my wiring harness. I can't find a receiver module anywhere in the car so i assume its incorporated in the main control box. Any insight would be helpful, and please don't TLDNR me, it's my first post n i felt like giving a nice intro lol.

Anybody with a Honda Tech Decal i can have or buy please PM me, n anybody in the Dutchess NY area... see you out there

Did you try simply removing the FUBARd actuator and working the door latch by hand?

I would also bet that the hatch seal leaks, or, if it's an Si, the drain tubes from the roof may be clogged.

Its coming in right through the drivers side hatch strut. I'm already planning on popping off the roof moulding and slapping some seam sealer in there. What do you think the best way to repair that rust would be. I have a guy at a body shop but if my other friend can tig in a patch I'd rather go that route.
