I found a guy who is selling his "3 month" used WS from his '01 civic for 200. he said that it is too quiet for him since he wants to go around setting alarms off. now i looked on apexi's site and the WS for the 92-00 civic seems to the same. anyone know if the '01 is diff? i doubt it but plz let me know. also, he said that he only has the muffler because when he took it down, he made the mistake of cutting it off.....hmmm .....legit? well let me know what u guys think on buying used mufflers and what to look for. do they ever get clogged?

It probably is different for the 2001...I have the WS and it fits 92-00 Civic EX's, and it will also fit the Si...I think the 2001's are different, cause even when you buy an intake for a 2001, it's different than the previous Gen. Cut off the muffler? What do you mean, with a hacksaw? No, all you have to do is unbolt it. Just shake the muffler and see if anything is loose, especially since the WS has baffles in it...you don't want those loose, it makes a rattling sound and sounds like ****...also check the pipes to see if there are any crack/holes in it, and check the resonator too, make sure it's totally intact and not banged up. I would just buy a new WS, you can get them for liek $350.00 sometimes.

 

hmm, sounds like it's stolen, ask if he's got reciepts? who would be dumb enough to cut off their exhaust from the pipe? anyways, you could get a new one (catback) for around $359 at www.aieonline.com

edit: forgot to mention that they dont have ws for 01 civics, but you can try 96-00, but im not sure if they fit or not

yah he said he wasnt thinking right and cut it off. im not sure what he did with the rest of the piping.....hmmm....maybe ill pass.

 

well guess what guys, it is legit. he even showed me the receipt. and you know what else, picked it up for $100 bones!!! all i gotta do now is get it welded on my 2 1/4" exhaust. im so happy!!!
