Another Midwest SFWD build
Well, I'm finally at a point in my life where I can spend a few hours here and there in the garage again and have a few extra bucks to spend on it so I figured I'd make a thread.
The car has been a long time coming and was put on hold for a few times within the last 2 or so years I started it due to unemployment issues, health issues, and just no time at all.
This is a pretty typical cookie cutter SFWD build and I hope to be able to pilot it to a single digit soon when it done. I built this whole car by myself and rarely had any help as all the guys I used to race and mod with all "grew" out of the scene.

SW roll cage (still have to weld in)

s2pro1 cams

2000cc injectors

AEM EMS

stock ls tranny
DSS 5.9
comp twin
Keizer racing wheels and MH rubber all around
got a set of racersteve gears I'm gonna try when this one breaks

BW 67mm
tial 38mm wg's

custom IC (waiting on the core to arrive so I can build it)
custom manifold (just started fabbing this tonight)
This build going to be a slower process because I usually only get 2-3 hours in the garage a few days a week but here's where it's at right now and I will keep updating it.

Not trying to set any records right away. It's been so long since I've been behind the wheels of a fast car taht I'd probably kill myself with a ton of power. lol
I'd be happy with around 700-800hp this year and hping my stock trannies hold up until next year.
The wheels are a 13x10 4.5" BS. They weigh about 9 pounds each and are a 3piece wheel. I had them made around GSR brakes without spacers. They are around the same price as the welds and wait time is around 2-3 weeks depending on how much work they have.
Rears are 15x3.5 2" BS if I remember.

Been a slow and lazy build because my personal life has been so busy but I'm still going at it. It's been for sale but lack of a motivated buyer and taking too much of a loss has me not selling it anytime soon and probably just keeping it.
Little update though:
Just got the wheels beadlocked and now I'm either going to get them coated or I'm going to try plastidip on them.
