so the guy had a prb ecu posted on this board for sale for best offer. He said he had purchased it for his s2000 because he eventually wanted to run kpro. He sold the car so was now sellin the ecu.

I contacted him about it and he verified it was from a 02-04 type s.

Met up with him over an hour from my place around a month ago. Checked out the ecu saw the prb sticker and paid him.

Guy seemed like a legitimate individual, then gave the ecu to my good friend to send to hondata to get kpro. He called me a few days later stating the ecu was not kpro compatible serial number a13. I contacted him right away and he took a day to get back to me and was apologetic about it all and he said he would get it taken care of. My friend was livid so I paid him the money he gave me to get it and said I would settle this on my own because my friend from the beginning was just going to get a core through hondata.

A week goes by I message him what's up. He pretty much told me to fck off and that he was not going to buy the ecu back. His excuse was I got screwed over on it so now your getting screwed over and if you want to do anything find the guy who screwed him. Regardless if he sold it to me knowing or not saying some ish like that is hypocritical and childish. He said he got screwed on a dizzy also from some other guy so he does not care if I got ripped off saying that it happens to everyone.

I have had disputes and received items not as described but have not been blatantly ripped off like so. He tells me to chalk it up as a loss. If I were ever in his circumstance I would instantly pay back the buyer especially if I truly did not know the ecu was useless as he said he did. He claimed he did not care and since he was screWed to begin with it was my problem now.

I see he is still active I told him not to post and I know where he is from and a few people I know also know him. I'm posting this strictly so no body gets burned like I did. I gave the kid more than enough time to pay me and when he responded back I'm not payin you ish it's your loss. I wanted to be sure to let others know about this hypocritical low life. I'm a laid back guy and this guy seriously pissed me off I have plenty of texts I can post that make this kid sound like an ignorant fool.

I see he wants his threads deleted and what not I just want to forewarn any potential buyers. I never make these posts and have never just been taken like this so I figured I would get the word out.

Ya Tony I hear you there man this dude is a joke and his excuses were so stupid he kept saying he was going to pay me but then got screwed over on some distributor and said he was not going to pay me anymore and that I should just consider it a loss. After that I was pissed lol ya I'm laid back but I don't like losing money haha. Guy could not even answer his phone to talk just kept texting and in the end just stopped responding.

I honestly think he knew also because he would not ship it (using paypal to pay for it) but he would drive to meet me wasting more money in gas than shipping it while on other parts he said he would Ship them That's what really pisses me off

 

Dude you cost me a $170 when I took off work to meet up with you to buy those mounts. You flaked and had a million excuses. It's called karma

 

If you want a part don't say you want it next week. I don't know you and honestly dude I could have shipped them to you and was generous to offer to meet you which I'm done doing completely. You said you need them next week I have been told that so many times it is a joke. If you want them mesg me when you want them. I don't buy parts like that and I'm done holding parts for people to flake. I offered to ship them and had even sourced another set for you

If I buy a part I fcking buy it I don't say oh I will get it next week. I have a 100 to 1 people who can vouch for me all day. I go out of my freaking way and give very good deals on quality parts. This site has gone to ish flakers/dreamers lowballers and straight fools. This forum reigon is so slow now because you cannot sell anything of quality and people have no idea how to price cars/parts. I have better luck on CL which is sad.

If you took off work to buy 170 dollar mounts to lose 170 dollars buy new why even deal with driving to get them. I have been told so many times oh next week or 2 weeks from now and at the last minute just flake or lowball. I guess it comes with selling old Honda parts.

I did not scam you or take your money man if you make that then get them shipped or buy new or offer a deposit so I know you are for sure. I'm sure you prob know the guy also I know you are from the same area as him so dude think what you want but if you fcking want a part come buy it I'm willing to drive half way to help you out and you try to acuse me of screwing you over. Meet me that day maybe the next or put a damn deposit down.

Me paying money for a paper weight is entirely different than me selling the mounts before you wanted to meet the next week. If your time is worth that much buy new

I was out of town the weekend you wanted to meet to begin with and I said if I go to lg I can meet you right by your area. I never ended up going and had a guy who wanted them now and gladly paid my asking price and shipping. I did not know you were taking a day off work man or I would have told you to send me a small deposit so I know it is for sure

I was told you got the green hatch a while back but did not know you still had it I messaged you a while back asking about it and don't remember hearing back from you.

This site is a joke this is part of the reason why I do not take anyone seriously on it when they tell me they want something. I personally don't know you and I have had so many people tell me next week and just disappear completely I have come to realize I just need to put first come first serve if you want a part within a week from now send a deposit.

I have helped out countless people on not only this site but many others. I have never scammed anyone of money or parts. I price parts correctly and try to post quality used parts. I admit I should have told you first come first serve or insisted you send a deposit because in your case you were serious about buyin the mounts but again I have no idea who is serious about buying anything now of days.

 

Exactly man if I held every part people wanted I would not sell anything. I mean I get some lowball offers once in a while on CL but I get so many more emails/texts/calls from Craigslist and always end of selling parts quick and for what I want or close to it. I'm sure I have pissed off a few people selling parts before they had money/time to get it. I have realized a lot of people on Craigslist are more than willing to drive to you.

Also wshuculd the guy you got the shell from got a 5 lug from me as well. A few days after I sold him everything he called and said he would sell me back the 5 lug for dirt cheap I said ok I will leave hear in a few hours (guy lived near Milwaukee) drove over an hour and he texted me back that he had just sold it and sold it for less than I was going to pay for it... I was real mad but did not post in his threads I understand why you could be pissed but ish man it was not some crazy good deal saving you hundreds I will just be sure to post in bold on any thread I might make.
