Default Clutch smell = ????

Lately my clutch has been slippin more and more. Now it seems to slip just on the motor. When it does this it kinda smells like someone welding some shti. You know those welders that feed a peice of metal wiring that melts. Thats what it smells like after some spirited driving. Is this correct??? I know for a fact that its slips off the bottle, and think it slips on the motor. Anyone else know what a burnt clutch smells like??? Thanks for all replys.

yup most likely the clutch is about to basically fail on you..suggest to upgrade..and while your in there get a flywheel =P I run a b18b in my 98hb and man it made a world of difference with the flywheel I am running the CM 7.5LB one.. but even a stock lightened one will make a huge difference
