We lost an alternator belt in the middle of third gear, ... We had only 10.5 volts in fourth, causing lambda control to try and fix the lean condition. Explains why a .60 followed our .47. Thought we had it fixed with our custom belt idler. I guess a 16 volt is in our future.

Low voltage makes it hard for the pump to maintain pressure, lambda control's on top of it but it was still lean. And it needs a bigger crankcase breather.

Pretty sure being over a tenth slower to the 330' than the previous pass was the main reason for the slower ET. Your trap was still 175+.

I thought the smoke after every pass was from the valve stem seals always popping off?

True. True. You're definitely right! Thanks

That's what we thought until the end of last year but when I took a look after Kent IFO they were still on. Bigger catch can is the next step... The engine lives and lives so it's harmless but I'd like to fix it since its been a recurring thing.

Nice video!

Everyone is going lithium 16v these days, as long as you have time to charge them between rounds, its all good!

Miller went 8.36 at imports vs domestics in maryland last year, heard he was having problems with the engine on that pass as well.
