1994 honda accord ex auto
I have a 1994 honda accord ex auto and it makes a loud ticking noise when it goes from first to second...and that the only time it makes the noise...fluids are fine..is that just normal to these transmission?
You may just hear it whilst in second, but it may not be from second gear. It could simply be that in 1st the load/speed/engine noise does not allow you to hear the sound, and in 3rd/4th gear the load/speed/wind noise does not allow you to hear the sound.
Trace the sound an see if it is Engine RPM or actual Speed(MPH/KPH) related, and from where it is coming from.
Well after about a week of driving it and trying to figure out were or what the noise is. I came up with this... when i crank the car up and it hasn't warmed up there is no rattle. after driving it for maybe a hour it make a loud rattle/ticking noise when i accelerate or if I'm in park and rev it up...but after it shifts from 2nd to 3rd i no longer hear the noise...or if i cut off the car and it sits for 15 to 20 mins and i go to drive again no noise....im srry I'm not the best at describing stuff
