So every morning when i go to drive to town it seems like my vtec doesnt come on for quite a bit once im driving down the road. Its like plus 15 around here normally in the mornings so not too sure. Also when i do a hard pull in like 1st- 3rd I hear this noise that sounds like blowoff valve or air shooting out, and i can feel it in the acceleration as it sort of takes a small hit or something, any ideas? Im going to take it to get inspected and what not but just was wanting to know some second opinions

The thing is, VTEC won't engage until the engine has warmed up a little. Also it's not a great idea to wind up a cold engine.

Honestly, your post is a little hard to understand. Try to explain the problem better.

Check engine light just came on today after i washed my engine bay, throwing p1456 and a p1258
