Hey guys, I am new to the world of, well, repairing my own vehicle. Yesterday I decided to buy new spark plugs to replace my old ones. I did the gap correctly, and installed them correctly (left the old wires on). I went ahead and started the car, and it started fine with no problems. My uncle went ahead and proceeded to take the longest spark plug wire out and the car shut off. Ever since then, the car wont turn back on. It'll turn, but it wont actually turn on. I went ahead and replaced the wires (apparently they were the original ones!). Car still wont start. The people at O'Reillys tell me I have a bad ignition coil, but there was a small spark coming out of the distributor. Any ideas? I know the spark plugs are in right and the wire are in the correct order. I am stumped as to what this is.
