Default 97 ex SPEED SENSOR

My speedometer went out. code reader said speed sensor. before i go ripping out intake hoses and what not, is there a possibility its a fuse? can i just remove the sensor and put it back? (like reset)

no need to remove intake and hoses. all you need is a 10mm long socket with a swivel long extension and a ratchet to remove the two bolts. what was your code exactly?

Dont know the specific number but it said speed sensor. it was the reader that advanceauto uses. every where i searched said to get the hoses out of the way to be easier but if i dont have to than good, but i cant see it to get to it.

Yeah no need to pull hoses or intake........actually the speed sensor is super easy to get to, as stated 10mm socket with a long extension and your pulling the sensor out........
