So Im kinda confused. Today I pulled the rear lca and rear shocks from my 89 Crx (atleast I think/thought it was an 89)

I pulled them because I want to lower the car and change the rear trailing arm bushings. I ran into some trouble with the left side inner LCA bolt as the bushing was seized to the bolt and I had to heat/cut the head off the bolt to get it out, and ruined that bushing pretty much.

I didnt care because I had a set of spare LCA's from years ago from what I THOUGHT was the 88 "fork" style, but aparently the fork style is 89+...

So what I pulled off my car is 88 style?? I thought my car was bone stock, and the springs and struts look oem so Im kinda stumped.

In this picture, the green squared LCA's are what I pulled off the car. The LCA's below them are the spare LCA's I have with newer bushings. And the shocks that came off the car below them which were attached to the LCA's in the green square.



So Im going to buy some lifetime warranty shocks for the rear tomorrow, but Im kind of unsure what year to buy for. I want to use the LCA's that are NOT squared in green. What year would I order for?

Green Box = 88 Arms
Arms bellow that = 89-91 Style
Shocks under that = 88-style.

You'll want shocks from a 89-91.
