Old Noob with V6 issue...
Ok folks. I'm new to honda vehicles. I grew up riding Honda motorcycles which, IMO are the best bikes on the road to date. My son (1stLSDA) easily convinced me to get a honda, because i needed something that gets better fuel mileage than the Grand Cherokee i had (14mpg on a good day). Well, we got a 95 Accod with 2.7 V6 and auto tranny. The car runs good so long as the Tach is working the way its supposed to. When the tach acts up, i have to get the car up to hwy speeds before it will run half way decent. He told me that MABEY the distributor could cause this issue. He and I are both used to our muscle car V8's (chevy and mopar to be specific). so, the computer opperations on the Honda is a whole new world to us. If anyone can help point me in the right direction, we would greatly appreciate it.

Can't remember is these have the "cover" under the rotor or not. When inspecting/testing, check the wires connecting to it to be sure they are clean and tight.
