Did i downgrade?? eg-K vs eg-B
i recently bought a 94 eg hatch K swapped. k20z3 with a few bolt-ons.. kidd racing header, cold air intake, and it already has fuel rail/regulator cuz of the swap and Kpro.. tuned open header making 207 on a dyno jet and 280 on Nos and its a 5spd tranny
i just raced my old eg hatch i had built and i think i might have downgraded..
i dis not spray.. we ran all motor..
92 eg hatch has
stock 97 spec itr block
lsd itr tranny with exedy stage 1 clutch
fully built head: p/p, valves, retainers, springs, stage 2 camshafts, walbro 255lph fuel pump, 440cc injectors, fuel rail/regulator, tri-y header, 2.5 inch piping all the way, performer x intake manifold, 70mm thottle body, 3inch cold air intake. hondata s100 tuned in a dyno jet making 200whp
we wer both doing a 15mph rolling start and he was pulling away from me in just about every gear until i hit 4th.. i thought i might have the upper hand..
is this right or something wrong?

It's the transmission man. It makes a big difference in acceleration. Plus imo 207 is a little low for a bolt on and tuned z3. You should be around 218-220 from what I've seen. Either way good luck with your new car.
actually i had to shift 1st before he did.. i was told my redline was at 8500 and his is at 9300 rpm
i was normally tuned for nitrous but i have a change of heart amd might go all motor
the only bolt-ons i see are cold air intake, kidd racing header, and a blox adapter plate with a stock thottle body, and the intake manifold might b stock.. it says RBC but dnt know if the stock z3 manifold says rbc on the stock manifold.. and KPro

Nah you didn't downgrade. Just get a proper all motor tune and you shouldn't have a problem beating your old car. Remember stock vs. built. Also no real point in getting a type-r tranny since you already have a 4.7 fd and an lsd.

i wonder if i downgraded going from many b swaps to my h swap, only lost to 1 b swap, and that **** was fully built itb aem ems aem coil packs tune by bisi every other b swap i beat
and im stock longblock h22a1 usdm motor and trans with a smash dc header

Car should be making more power and the tranny is killing you. Put a bigger tb on there, retune it and trade your tranny for a 6 speed. I'm sure you can find people willing to trade if they're running a boosted setup.
