Default Help a n00bie. Please

I have two questions. What exactly is understeer? and in a 95' GSR is it good or bad. I did a search and got nothin. It seems that my GSR handles better than my Golf. and the Golf has front and rear strut tower bars and a drop and the GSR is stock. Thanks in advance for the help. Much Appreciated.

Understeer = plowing towards the outside. Basically your wheel is turned but you are sliding out towards the outside of the turn.

Oversteed = rear end kicking out

some more explanations:

Understeer - front tires lose grip before rear tires
Oversteer - rear tires lose grip before front tires

all this result in the conditions Exody describe
