Second opinion on this buy!!
So im pretty green when it comes to this stuff but I got a few buddies that run back n forth from auction to auction to pick up a few cars here n there to sell....luckily for me (them knowing im a honda guy) they found a 2000 GS-R shell....full interior and all....Just needs a motor and trans...ECU is surprisingly still there....The leather is in damn near perfect condition, even the headliner doesnt have a spot on it! The body has one small ding on the fender. (easy jdm front end fix) but I paid a whopping $700....throwing in a low mile B18 and trans...what am i looking at as far as turnaround? I know, worthless without pics....Thanks!
how is that not worth the time? lets think about this is should only take 4 hours at the most to put a engine in that car and lets be serious all you would need to do is buy another oe fender and get it painted which would be way cheaper than the jdm front in and it should only take 10 mins to change the fender so all in all less than 5 hours of work to make over a grand sounds worth it to me, but i guess its cuz i fix cars for a used car dealer for a living. That just my 2 cents

I flip hondas all day.
MY 2 cents to you would be to sell the shell as is for like 1900 that will give u more profit then getting it running..
On that note. Im assuming that the car has a salvage title is goes to hurt your resale value ALOT
post pics. id be interested if u sold the shell as is.
