Default 94 h22 prelude Vtec exhaust

Hello, This is my first post here, and I am writing in regards to my recent prelude upgrade. I have recently had a "ebay" , "stainless jdm header"and "speed daddy" 2.5 cat back exhaust, and a hi-flow off road use catalitic convertor installed on my 94 h22 prelude. All the parts were undamaged and looked very high quality.

The problem I am having is, Under any RPM range, and especially under load, the car sounds like a duck call, or noisemaker, I installed the silencer, and that helped a bit, but not nearly enough. I checked all the heat shields, there is no contact, and I also beat the whole exhaust up for a while, and I dont hear any loose parts inside...... The only thing I did notice, is the mechanic who installed the exhaust, never installed the new header gasket.. He re-used the sheet metal shim gasket(i noticed the new header gasket is much thicker). The noise is absurd, it sounds horrible. Would not using the new header gasket cause this??? The cat-back has a fairly large resonator in it, and the exhaust is alll tight, and all other gaskets are intact. The car is NA.

Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

It's only been 4 hours, people have to work you know?

Try using the new gasket.

This is mine:

(don't mind the rattle when revving, part of the exhaust is not hung :O )
