Installed it and I love it, but why does it rattle? I am 100% sure that it is NOT hitting the exaust below it. There is tons of rooms for it to play, so that is not causing the rattling that everyone thinks it does.

The SS came with some little small rings, what are they for and where do they go?

How do I stop the rattle? When I hold the shifter when it is rattling, it stops.

 

I dont have the BM SS but it sounds like something is loose.
Check to see where those washers were suposed to go, they were included for a reason

 

i have a 2.25 exhaust and standing still i have room but when you hit a bump it touches. also check the shift bushings, the t shaped one needs to be tight it keeps the linkage close to the chassis but sometimes the bushing can slip around the bolt, i think im having problems with my ES one
