92 accord stumbling, bogging and hard starts
Hi All. its a 92 4door accord with around 300k mileage.. it started out about 6mo. ago it would occasionally just stop running for like 2 seconds then be alright, like it was out of gas and seen to do it at the same throttle position. then became worst then finally wouldn't start. It would try to start, but then would shut down like out of gas, plus while having all these problems the tack would be doing all sorts of bizarre jumping all over. I have replaced the fuel pump and filter. plugs, cap and rotor, coil, and valve cover gasket. Also after replacing coil it started right up and idled great for about thirty min, then started right back up, but the next morning when right back to doing same sh-t PLEASE HELP
Do you hear the fuel pump prime during the no-start conditions? If not you may have a bad main relay. Solder points on the board get messed up due to age and heat and eventually break. It's odd because in colder weather the material is shrunk and the connections are often made. But if you've run the car for a while or it's just hot weather then the joints expand and the connections are lost. They're easy to fix, though. If this turns out to be your issue you may want to grab a spare from a junkyard and resolder the points on it and just swap yours out.

Got it running better than ever. I was either the main switch (fixed the connections ) or bad ground. found the grounds under thermostat housing and bolt was loose and covered in oil, go figure. Runs like a champ and great gas mileage, who would of thought. Thanks Guys
