I have a Type R short block Im looking to get rid of. it has high comperession Cp pistons, and stock rods. now i bought the whole Type R with a messed up head. all i know it was boosted and the bottem end was built for it. idk about the miles or anything else about it. im starting off at $800 OBO. thats pretty cheap i think. trying to get rid of it fast. to get ahold of me you can either pm me or txt me @ 224 33o 7one4five

'96 USDM ITR block, eh...interesting. I've never heard of '96 USDM ITR engines. Must be rare.

Honing has nothing to do with strengthening a block to withstand boost.

IMHO, this block was a failed attempt at a cheap rebuild. Pictures and more information would be great.

Seeing as you don't know anything else, it wouldn't help to call up the guy/gal you bought it from and ask.

Look I'm sorry that I'm not as knowledgeable about this stuff as you, I'm only 19 still learning about this stuff. i bought the the engine to build it and i decided to keep the head and sell the block. you don't have to be all smart about the build i didnt build it. and really its not rare you dont have to be a smart @ss about it.
