2001 Honda S2000 with 82,0xx miles.
Gentlemen I do not post on the forums but Ive lurked for a few years till I joined a couple months ago with intentions of completely building my s2k, but my new decision to get engaged to my gf of 6yrs has lead me to this point of selling my recently acquired toy. I bought this car in December 2011 with a little over 71k on it. My plan initially was to turbo charge and paint it so I decided to get rid of the dredful Silverstone color...well actually its a great color just too common for my liking. This car has been excelent to own over the last 10k miles only issue that came up was a secondary o2 sensor that was replaced with less the 24hrs of the cel coming on. Never had a cel before and never had one after. In the mean time the moment i bought the car i took it on a road trip to Orlando FL for a valentines trip with my gf and car ran great no issues. Also its most recent trip was to NYC where i am originally from to visit family. the car was amazing on a straight 834 mile trip. I decided to leave the car when I had to be back in town on short notice. Its being garage kept an unhampered until I return for it in mid June sometime. I will break down a few things maintenance Ive done since purchase.
Maintance
1. The Obvious Oil changes only With mobil 1 oil and honda oem oil filter. So far ive done 3.
2. Tranny Fluid (honda mtf) 76k
3. The Valve cover was chipping so decide to respray. Three items replaced at 77k.
A. While off replaced the Valve cover gasket (honda part)
B. Vtec solenoid gasket (honda part)
C. Ngk Spark Plugs Set (honda part)
D. K&N Air Filter
3. Oxygen Sensor (secondary) (Denso 234-4601) 80k
4. Diff Fluid service performed at local Chattanooga Honda Dealer 80k
I hate tattered parts on my car so for that I purchased some misc items to replaced the weathered items on car.
1. Honda Genuine Floor mats
2. All new Under plastics shields as well as fender liners and clips.
3. 2012 Honda Accord Exhaust tips
4. Used but in perfect condition ap2 Convertible top with Rear glass.
My mods list is very minimal
1. Replica Mugen hardtop. Fits good enough for me no issues with leaks some minor wind noise.
2. Ap2 front and rear bumpers
3. 18inch wheels bought from a local guy..not even sure what they are...but they fit perfect. No issues at all. Rear tires were replace 1k ago before my ny trip
4. Skunk 2 springs on original shocks, also have rear balljoint camber kit
5. And the biggest obvious paint job completed on apr 6.
6. Oem Clear sidemarkers
I do believe thats about it. Any questions feel free to shoot me message or call. Overall Im very happy with this car but as we all know if you take car of a honda it will take care of you.

never seen the s2k but i seen the 4dr ek and it is clean! wish i can pick this s2k up but im moving. btw i drive the blue 4dr ek and the white fit..bump and good luck!!!
