Im seeing if anyone has ever seen one or has a AUDM type R auto climate control in their car? My question is, does the auto cc light up amber? I have searched and found nothing. I am in the middle of swapping the guts out for my usdm guts and I dont see any difference in color in the bulbs.

I'm just trying to find if the lights in the audm unit are amber or white! If you have one could you take a pic at night with the lights on so I could see. I got a audm unit but don't want to go through the work of swapping the guts to light up the same as my usdm unit.

 

Bulbs aren't amber, the backing of the part that is illuminated is coated in amber. So when light shines through, it's amber.

 

So if I swap the CF bezel to my usdm unit it should light up (amber)?
I would not have to swap the lights that's came with the audm unit.
