Who else was sitting on the edge of there seat hoping Sato's motor didn't blow like the rest of the hondas last night?

 

just got home from a friends watching the race. Good for him, but its still funny to think really how isolated Ferrari was in terms of success this year. 11 wins, and it should have been 12 with the "ill slow down for the photoshoot...oh, you just beat me..." race.

 

Yeah, the Ferraris are probably 2 yrs ahead of everybody else, and they have Schumacher. Sure would like to see a Honda factory team in the future...

 

It was nice to see Sato perform like Eddie Jordan said he would for at least one race...no matter what this kid does in the future its still amazing given he only started karting at 19.

It still must be bad overall for Honda to blow 3 motors on race day at their home track.

Did anyone see McNish's accident in qualifying? That was a big one.

 

it was a scary won!! 130R is one of the fastest corners in F1!! some of the drivers weren't even lifting through there in qualifying!! talk about titanium *****!!! that's easily 180 MPH!!!

 

Didn't Fisichella blow up another one in practice? I didn't see it but I think they mentioned it. Anyway, for Sato

I thought Toyota owned Fuji speedway and Honda owns Twin Ring Motegi. Or did Honda buy Fuji speedway from Toyota?

 

Is that the one at the end of the back straight? Watching Sato's in-car from my couch made my heart skip a beat.

 

yeah, that was cool.. except when eddie jordan was cussing at the honda techs after uhhh... pulling blank here.. Sato's team mates' motor blew up.. y'know who i'm talking about... dammit....

anyway, it was awesome to see all the Japanese people going crazy when Sato came in.. the safety car almost caught up with him he was going so slow on his cool down lap!!! and then the podium ceremony was almost missed due to the Japanese TV excitement...
