I want to get a ram horn manifold but im running ac/ps still. I dont want to spend 1k for a ac compatible one on a college budget build. Someone told me i can get a ram horn and use a 90 degree elbow on the waste to clear the ac. Does this really work? Has anyone done this before?

 

I had a blox cast with a 90 degree elbow but, it was to clear the head/hood.

What manifold are you looking at?

 

Its not just the wastegate/dumptube that have to clear the fan and condensor. The actual AC ramhorn's are tilted slightly towards the passenger side to clear the compressor and allow for a downpipe to fit in there. I doubt your going to have the room to make this work without some fabrication on the manifold.
