i was wondering if anybody has used/made an aftermarket intake set-up for the stock 600 carb. ive seen someone use what looks to be an itb cone thing but i dont know.

 

I have seen people cut the air box top. I put my N600 on the dyno last summer and make a few basic timing adjustments, I remember removing the air box top and seeing another 2 HP at the wheels so I'm sure cutting the top would work. If you wanted to I bet you could even cut into your hood and make it ram air!
