CB7 1993 10th Anniversary Needs Camber Kit
Hi. please don't be upset with me guys... I tried to search it but couldn't find a related topic. My friend has a 10th Anniversay 1993 Accord 4dr. When she bought it, it had already been lowered using lowering springs. She needs a camber kit for the car so that it'll stop eating tires for breakfast. Please recommend a good brand for purchasing this kit. Also, do I need the Adjustable A arm and the adjustable ball joint?
Depending on how much it's lowered with these random springs then a front camber kit will cause the upper control arm to hit the inside of the fenderwell at the top of its motion. I would recommend clearancing that area with a sledge just slightly while everything is out. Also, if she does not have aftermarket shocks(preferably Koni Yellows since those are the only ones intended for a much of a drop) then she is driving an unsafe vehicle. The intended pairing of those shocks with factory springs combined with age do not allow it to go well with lowering springs. The ride will be bouncy as well as unpredictable in harsh turns. Possibly when she needs them most.
Now that that's settled. SPC and Ingalls both make great kits. You would certainly notice them if you searched.

From personal experience with my lowered accord, I had negative camber -2.0 on the front. I drive almost 30K a year and was eating tires on the inner part of the tires maybe every 4 months. Toe was within spec and closer to 0 every alignment. I got the anchor bolt kit from ingalls, cut some grooves of the lip on the inner fenderwell lip and banged it up. Set the camber to 0, took to get aligned, was in spec, and haven't been eating tires since. Just my personal experience.

dont use that junk...i dont see how someone can be that cheap where they are willing to not only put their life at risk but the lives of others by trusting a suspension part of unknown quality
i believe that is what i said since the only the only adjustment they do to our cars is toe since that all is adjustable from the factory
