Default My Civic is Made in Canada. Does that mean my Dx has Vtec wiring already there?

I heard somewhere that all eg civics made in Canada are already
hooked up for Vtec(including Dx's). I have a Dx from Honda of Canada with a blown motor and am looking for a single cam Vtec swap. Is it possible that my 95 Civic dx is already hooked up for Vtec?

check to see if there are any wires in the D6 location or the A4 location.

Civics don't have knocksenors so you won't have that wire but you would have to add it in manually if you swap a B18C1.

I thought all eg's were made in Japan. Maybe I am wrong. I know for a fact my EK was made in canada and is NOT wired for vtec.

Just found out my 93 Cx was made in Canada. Can anyone verify what models were wired for vtec?

actually i have a 92 civic dx that was made in canada and when i put a b16 into it i had to get a prewired vtec subharness (or make one), that means that 92 civics dont come prewired for vtec. Its not even hard to wire up the vtec, i have all the instructions youd need if you would like?
