Dumb questions. Its a fully built car. The price you pay is for parts and parts alone, the car is a bonus. Parts that would have accumulated mileage have more than likely been replaced or reconditioned. If the frame is straight, title status is also irrelevant to the price. If the car was tuned at Kings performance, it is probably around south east coast. If you're going to ask questions like that its clear you aren't a serious buyer.

Yea.. I'm not a serious buyer.. That's why I have a car for sale. If the price I'm paying is for parts alone, I'll offer $5k. There are more parts that accumulate mileage than just suspension and motor. Worn seats, faded or cracked interior pieces, electronics, ect. And how can you assume that stuff like ball joints have been replaced? Does he say the frame is straight? No, so the easier (and also better) question to ask is if it has a clean title. If the answer is no, explain why. Flood/theft/wreck are all important things. Never heard of kings performance, and a lot of people take there cars out of state for tuning. Why should I, the buyer, have to assume anything.

This is a pretty idiotic statement. The guy is selling a whole car not just parts. The parts would bring more separated from the car then it would as a whole

You aren't making yourself look like less of an idiot. Like I said, the price you will pay is for the parts the car has. The motor/turbo/fuel/ems setup by itself is over $15,000 without the car so where do seats, interior plastics and ball joints factor into the price? If I was selling a car like this one (and I have) and you tried to bargain with me over mundane **** like that I'd tell you to go f*ck yourself.

Fact is, a serious buyer for a car like this wouldn't be asking these questions because quite frankly they don't f*cking matter. The only thing that matters is build receipts and verification that the engine setup works as well as he claims and will continue to do so under new ownership.

Stuff like that matters to me as well as 99% of people out there. Never said I was going to bargain over stuff like that. I'm just interested to know a few details... Price? Milage on chassis? Title status? Location? You had to be an *** and blow up about nothing.

If it was local (Which for all I know it could be. He hasn't said where he's located) I would just go see the car. Since it's over the internet, it's best to know what you're in for.

You telling a potential buyer to "go f*ck yourself" for asking a question is a great way to sell a car.

Please do the seller a favor and stay off his thread with your nonsense. It's people like you that give H-T a bad rep.

I will keep an eye on it to see if he ever answers.

And Mcaro, I apologize for the dumb thread jacking that went on.

Like I said, he said all aftermarket parts have ~1200 miles on them. This should be good enough for any potential serious buyer. You are right about 99% of buyers being interested in the mileage, thats understandable. But that 99% of buyers are looking to purchase a stock car, not a 689whp hand built race car.
Its a 17 year old car with (what looks like) clean paint and a straight body, why does the mileage matter so much to you? The (most expensive) parts that would have accumulated the worst wear and tear (that the odo tracks) have been replaced with newer/better parts (with 1200 miles on them). Essentially this car has 1200 miles on it. The car having a salvage title or not is more a bargaining chip that shouldn't factor into the price of this vehicle the way it has been built.

If it was local (Which for all I know it could be. He hasn't said where he's located) I would just go see the car. Since it's over the internet, it's best to know what you're in for.
The state is in the title, because it is a requirement on this forum (FL). The pictures alone should have been a good indicator of what you are in for. A car like this isn't a car you take your girlfriend out to dinner in, drive everyday comfortably and hardpark with your buddies every Friday night. This car is meant to go fast down a drag strip. I 100% guarantee you wouldn't be able to get it moving without stalling it your first time out and I know you think you're a good driver.

You telling a potential buyer to "go f*ck yourself" for asking a question is a great way to sell a car.
It is a good way to weed out 'buyers' that will waste your time.

Please do the seller a favor and stay off his thread with your nonsense. It's people like you that give H-T a bad rep.
I'm bumping his thread (because I like the car) and calling you out on asking dumb, irrelevant questions. How am I giving h-t a bad rep?

I will keep an eye on it to see if he ever answers.

And Mcaro, I apologize for the dumb thread jacking that went on.
Awesome car Mcaro. Hopefully it goes to the right buyer who won't try to tire kick and bargain with you over ball joints and interior plastics.
